Cornelius (Neil) Sexton, 49, of Cary, NC passed away suddenly on Monday, November 21, 2016. Born on May 1, 1967 in Mount Kisco, NY, he was the son of Cornelius (Neil) and Claire Sexton.

Neil was a 1985 graduate of Governor Livingston High School, New Jersey and a 1990 graduate of Elon College, North Carolina where he was also a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was employed by Cherrywood Commercial as an Account Executive.

Cornelius (Neil) Sexton, 49, of Cary, NC passed away suddenly on Monday, November 21, 2016. Born on May 1, 1967 in Mount Kisco, NY, he was the son of Cornelius (Neil) and Claire Sexton.

Neil was a 1985 graduate of Governor Livingston High School, New Jersey and a 1990 graduate of Elon College, North Carolina where he was also a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was employed by Cherrywood Commercial as an Account Executive.

Neil had a remarkable life filled with amazing travel and adventures. He was passionate about sports, fishing, oil painting, and many outdoor activities. He was an exceptional and thoughtful son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him.

Neil is survived by his parents, Cornelius (Neil) and Claire Sexton, sisters: Karen Roche and husband, Hugh, Tara Jones and husband, Bill, nephews: Patrick Roche, Stephen Roche and Tyler Jones.

Services will be held on Wednesday December 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at The Catholic Community of St. Francis of Assisi, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC. The family will receive guests at the church one hour prior to the service. There will also be a reception for several hours after the service in the church Founders Room.
